Our mission is to help you achieve meaningful results efficiently, often requiring fewer visits than traditional physical therapy models, so you can return to the activities you value with strength, confidence, and lasting success.
Matthew Ricci
Matt earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Angelo State University in 2019 after completing his undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University. His passion for physical therapy began at an early age through his involvement in a wide variety of sports, where he experienced firsthand the value of expert rehabilitation and performance training.
Today, Matt remains deeply committed to an active lifestyle, enjoying running, swimming, strength training, and participating in as many sports as possible. He also values time spent with his family exploring the scenic beauty of Idaho — whether camping, hunting, or fishing. Matt is passionate about working with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, providing patient-focused care designed to relieve chronic pain, restore movement, and help people return to the activities they love. His goal is simple: deliver personalized, results-driven treatment that empowers every patient to move forward with strength and confidence.
Why Start Physical Therapy with Phoenix PT
At Phoenix PT in Idaho Falls, our physical therapists think the best part of therapy shouldn’t just be pain relief—it’s about being able to fully understand and take charge of your own health for the long haul. Too often people think even the best physical therapy is just about making the pain go away, but the truth is it’s way more than that—it’s a way of treating pain for good, sort out nerve problems, and stop injuries from coming up again.
Our team at Phoenix PT really hopes to get patients to see physical therapy in a whole new light—as a smart move that’s going to get the best results out of your body, no matter what you’re dealing with at the start. Whether you’re struggling with a sore shoulder, working through some balance issues, or recovering from surgery, we help create a recovery plan that’s focused on real-life problems and long term health, not just waving a magic wand and sending you on your way.
We’re also proud to offer a really specialized form of therapy, called vestibular rehab, that’s specifically designed to help with problems like dizziness and vertigo—the sort of stuff that makes it really hard to keep going with your daily routine. We’ve found that patients who get the kind of one-on-one care we offer, in the comfort of their own home or at the gym, start to see progress in no time and really start to love the progress they’re making.
We’re not about just pain relief—we’re about patient education, giving you the skills and knowledge you need to understand your own body, get stronger, and get back to living the life you want. Whether you’re dealing with the aftermath of surgery, trying to manage pain that comes with just living your life, or simply trying to avoid getting injured in the first place, getting started with us means getting the right care from day one and setting yourself up for success.
